You can allow for the automatic publishing of entries, but this is not advisable. Better to set it up so that the administrator has to review and approve the entry before it appears on the page.
A substantial 'bad word' filter is also a feature, to disallow swearwords.
Finally, "Captcha" is used to help prevent automated programs to fill your guestbook with spam or worse. This is the box with the 'squiggly' figures or numbers that you must type into a text box in order to submit your comment.
